Bug Towers at Wyevale Cadbury Garden Centre

Bug Towers made by some of our Year 9 students are now on display at Wyevale Cadbury Garden Centre.  We will be auctioning them on ebay for 10 days from 1st December - starting at 99p!  All proceeds to WaterAid, our charity for this year and there will be a trophy for the team that raises the most money on ebay!

Bug Tower features as will be noted on ebay:

  • Reclaimed 16mm pine sides with pine shelves, pine base and top. All pine has been sanded and treated.
  • Shelves glued and screwed in place. Screws countersunk
  • Laser cut 2mm plywood doors to 2 sections
  • Laser cut 6mm plywood feature at the top with screw holes to attach to fence posts / walls....
  • 3mm plywood back which has been glued and panel pinned glued.
  • Other sections with various hibernation materials - cane, drilled logs etc...
  • Very strong and durable and heavy (hence the postage costs). Collection from the Academy is available
  • Please study photos carefully for accuracy and remember the towers have been produced by 13-14 year olds!!

Please support our students and WaterAid - an ideal Christmas gift!
