Do Your Thing
On Thursday evening (16th) our Year 9 BTEC Dance students wowed their family and friends as they took part in the 'Do Your Thing' Choreography Challenge. The Students have been working in groups to choreograph their own pieces in response to a variety of given stimuli. The students were required to consider all aspects of choreography ranging from the use of dancers to the creative use of costumes. The groups competed to win a variety of prizes but the overall winning group, as decided by the judges on the night, consisted of Rhiannon Davies, Jasmine Honour, Ellie-May Darby and Shannon Puckey. The evening showcased the wide range of talented dancers we have here at Churchill as the audience also saw performances from the Year 8 Performance Project and the KS3 Dance Club.
