On Friday 16th June 27 talented Year 7 and 8 students spent the day in the English faculty preparing to sit an English Language exam and we are very proud to announce that they have achieved some truly fantastic results.  All students did exceptionally well and grades ranged from 3 (old D+) to 7 (Old A). The students demonstrated an excellent attitude on the day, making the most of the opportunity and rising to the challenge.

Lily Murphy (Year 7) gained a Grade 7 – a phenomenal achievement.  The following students all achieved a Grade 6: Lois Hart, Drew Palmer, Lily Neville, Brooke Knight, Anna Papasouliotis, Peter Skeen, Isla Skudder and Evie Tallon. Grade 5s and below were awarded to: Sam Ireland , Emma Cekaj, Sophie Vangasse, Sarah Browne, Charlotte Smith, Callum Bonetti, James Dams, Jude Hill, Nat Tompkins, Josephine Taylor, Bethan Anderson, Alex Wahab, Katie Godfrey, Fred Body, Mia Wakeling and Kit Windsor.

As a team in English we couldn’t be prouder of the fantastic achievements from this dedicated and hard-working group of students. We hope that this inspires and motivates them to continue to accomplish great things in English over the rest of their time here at Churchill.
