Model United Nations

A small but enthusiastic team attended the Ninth Model United Nations Conference at Bristol Grammar School on Sunday 29th January, representing the United Kingdom, Turkey and Finland.  The students had a great day debating, amongst other things, overpopulation, the restriction of voting rights and the rights of children.

We were delighted to be announced winners of the 'Outstanding Delegation in the General Assembly' Award due to the contributions of Catherine Davey, Sami Faheem and Oliver Guckian.  In addition, Sami Faheem was 'commended' in his Political Committee and Oliver Guckian was 'best delegate' in the Historical Security Council.
