Sports Day 2017

With a mixed weather forecast all week the PE faculty were on edge, but come 6.45am on Friday 30th, the Sun came out. With an army of Year 10 & Sixth Form helpers to set up, Sports Day 2017 was on and looking the best yet.  With the introduction of Sports Hall athletics in Dec, and some recent good performances at the North Somerset & Avon Schools championships the day was filled with excitement and anticipation of participation and competition.  MC Smith was headlining the Churchill Pavilion Stage and Miss Bones leading the podium lead warm up, Sports Day 2017 was ready and what a great day, including 15 House records broken. A mixture of all houses performed well over all year groups, but in the end only one house could take away the trophy and it was the Green of Stuart House.  Team PE would like to thank all staff, pupils, and parents who supported the day.  We have big plans for Sports Day 2018!
