What a wonderful set of summer term House matches we have had – despite the weather! So many students across the Houses proudly turned up to represent their respective House team/s this term in the Rounders, Cricket, Softball and Tennis House matches.

The atmosphere (even in the rain) was fantastic and once again we have been really impressed with the enthusiasm, attitude and team spirit from all House teams. At the end of every Rounders, Cricket and Softball match, each House team nominated a ‘player of the match’ from the opposition and these students were presented with certificates on the day to congratulate them on their performance.

We also award a ‘Player of the Tournament Award’ for each year group and we call this the ‘Team PE Award’. This award was given to the player that really stood out in terms of effort levels, gave that little bit extra, demonstrated excellent team spirit and performance on the day.

The following students received the ‘Team PE Award’ and were presented with a certificate, medal and a brand new Rounders/Cricket ball:
