Year 11 Hockey Champions

Huge congratulations to the Year 11 Hockey team who won the North Somerset Tournament on 10th November! 

After a  slightly wobbly start to the tournament where we finished our first match with a frustrating 0 - 0  draw against Backwell despite having most of the possession; it was onwards and upwards from this point.  We went on to beat Worle 1 - 0, Clevedon 1 - 0, Priory 3 - 0 and finally Gordano (the grand finale) where the girls put in a fantastic team performance, beating them 2 - 0.  Well done girls! 

The tournament displayed a very high standard of Hockey and you performed with confidence, determination and skill.  Congratulations to:  Georgie Glossop, Martha Burford,  Libby Bamsey, Elsa Greed, Tia Craig, Anya Lawrence, Maddy Bawden,  Elener Philips,  Annie Dawes, Dulcie Glossop, Hannah Glossop and Anya Millett (Year 10).
