Year 9 Netball Silver

Year 9 Netballers entered two teams in the annual North Somerset Tournament this week. Each team played a number of games with Team B playing their games back to back, tirelessly working hard. Nominated girls for each game included Lorna Perry, Molly Ebdon, Evie Spearing, Katie MacKay and Alex Wilson, however all girls were superb and made Churchill very proud! Team A made it through to the final and played a tightly contested game against Worle, narrowly missing out on first place but improving on previous years by bringing home silver! Huge congratulations to all girls involved and a special mention to Esme Bird (13 JAH) who yet again gave up her time to help the PE department and did a brilliant job of umpiring at the tournament.
