Graphic Design, Personal Chef and Getaway Driving snag top spots in Careers Competition
Our Humanities department teamed up with our Careers team to launch a competition earlier this year focusing on students' dream jobs.
The task at hand was to design a job advert for a dream career, whether that was a pilot, surgeon, lawyer, game designer, physiotherapist or anything else you could dream of!
We asked students to get as creative as possible with their adverts, and we had submissions of all kinds, from posters to videos and even some models to represent their choices.
It was a difficult choice with so many fantastic submissions. However, our top three winners have been announced. Congratulations to Mila, Holly, and Ethan, who snagged the top three spots and earned valuable house points and prizes!
1st Prize - Mila's Graphic Designer advert showed incredible attention to detail, highlighting all the different skills needed for the role and the opportunities being a graphic designer provides.
2nd Prize - Holly's Personal Chef advert ticked all the boxes. It was creative and informative about the profession. Holly took it above and beyond by also including a brownie recipe as part of the advert, really making it stand out.
3rd Prize - Ethan's Getaway Driver advert was a wild choice of career that added a level of fun and adventure to the competition. The advert was well-researched and informative about the life of a getaway driver!
Massive congratulations to our top three, as well as every other student who entered the competition.
