Churchill Students fly to Malta to play for the Winscombe Rugby Club Under 15’s team in a tournament.
At the end of March, sixteen Churchill students flew to Malta to represent Winscombe Rugby Club in a 5-day Rugby Tournament, which saw them dominate against Maltese and UK Teams.
The Winscombe squad won all of their games and did not concede any points throughout the tournament; scoring a grand total of three-hundred points!
Congratulations to the following students who took part in the tournament: Milo Andrews, Charlie Axtell, Freddie Brown, Francis Campbell, Harry Gillard, Ryan Griffiths, Tom Hathway, Ollie Hurst, Maddock Jackson-Brown, Olly Jones, Kasey Magee, Ollie Moreton, Elijah Smith, Chase Sullivan, Charlie Thomas and William Upperton.
Well done to the other players from Kings of Wessex and Cheddar who also represented the team, as well as the coaches and parents who supported the students in this incredible opportunity.
