Alex Rice takes the Mini London Marathon all in his stride
On 20th April, Year 8 student Alex Rice headed to London to represent the South West Region in The Mini London Marathon.
As a dedicated runner, Alex runs for North Somerset Athletics Club, competes in national and regional events, and even holds running records in the Academy! His outstanding achievements in road and cross-country races made him an ideal participant to represent the South West Region in The Mini London Marathon.
Joining 13,000 children at the start line, the iconic event took them on a 2.6km course past the Horseguards Parade, around St James Park, in front of Buckingham Palace and finally across the finish line on The Mall.
