Students Hear From Author Sarah Crossan

Sarah is a fantastic writer of free verse novels.  She talked about writing in verse and the power of poetry to tell a story. 

Students had a chance to ask her questions after her talk.  Her books are very emotional, bittersweet and heartfelt, ranging from stories about conjoined twins, having a family member on death row to her latest historical story of love and relationships set during the Great Hunger in Ireland.

Many of our pupils enjoy reading stories written in verse and these are certainly worth checking out if you have not read this style of writing before.
