Sixth Form Mental Health Awareness Cake Sale

In celebration of Children's Mental Health Awareness Week, 5th - 11th February, the Health and Physical Wellbeing impact group will launch a series of events to fundraise to help improve the well-being of students.

To kick-start the awareness, they will be running a tea and cake sale exclusively for Sixth Formers on Friday 9th February in the common room during lunchtime, and the money raised will go to a mental health charity.

They aim to bring more to the entirety of the student body in the next coming months to encourage all students to speak up and feel heard.

Later this year, they’ll be announcing more exciting events including talks from guest speakers, the re-opening of the school gym, milkshake sales, mental health talks, plus much more!

If you have any other suggestions regarding improving the wellbeing of students, please contact Mr Smith at lis@churchill-academy.org.

We look forward to hearing your ideas!
