Churchill students celebrate World Book Day in a creative way

World Book Day isn’t just about celebrating books, but about getting people talking about the stories and characters - which is why the Academy loved being involved in The Toilet Roll Challenge!

Students were tasked with turning the humble cardboard core of a toilet roll into their most beloved character and the response was spectacular!

The students demonstrated incredible creative skills and showcased their exceptional knowledge of the characters and stories. The talent and effort demonstrated by all participants was truly commendable and every participant should feel proud of their accomplishments.
