We warmly invite you and your child to explore Churchill Academy & Sixth Form at our Open Evening on Wednesday 24th September 2025, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.

Starting secondary school is an exciting step for Year 6 students. At Churchill, we are committed to providing an exceptional education, built on our core values of kindness, curiosity, and determination. This commitment leads to a supportive and engaging environment to help your child make this important transition with confidence.

What to Expect at Our Open Evening

We’ve designed our Open Evening to give you and your child a true sense of life at Churchill. You’ll have the chance to:

·         Tour Our Facilities: Enjoy student-led tours and experience Churchill through the eyes of our students.

·         Hear from the Headteacher: Learn about our vision, values, and what makes Churchill unique. Presentations will take place at 5:15pm and 6:15pm.

·         Meet Our Staff: Speak with teachers and support staff about subjects, school life, and the transition to secondary school. Ask any questions you may have.

To help manage arrival times and ensure a great experience for everyone, please book a time slot that suits your arrival. One ticket covers your whole family.

If you arrive outside your booked time, don’t worry — our team will still warmly welcome you. The event is free to attend.

We recommend choosing an arrival time that allows you to attend the Headteacher’s talk. This will give you plenty of time to explore the Academy and meet our staff and students afterwards.

On-site parking is available, but spaces may be limited. Additional on-street parking is nearby if needed.
