Exam Results Days

Click here to view the Year 11 Exams Preparation Programme 2024.

  • AS and A-level results day is Thursday 15th August 2024
  • GCSE results day is Thursday 22th August 2024

Results are given out in the Sixth Form Common Room from 8:30am, and will also be available online in MCAS and the Student Portal from 9:30am. The Academy is unable to disclose results via email or telephone. If students are unable to collect results in person, they must provide a signed letter giving someone else authority to collect on their behalf, or access them online via MCAS or the Student Portal. We are unable to provide results - even to parents - unless a letter has been provided by the candidate. Alternatively, please provide a stamped addressed envelope and we will ensure they are posted to you.

Academy staff will be available throughout the morning to celebrate students’ successes and provide advice and guidance. Sixth Form and careers advice staff will also be on hand to discuss next steps if results haven’t gone as hoped – please make sure you speak to someone from the Academy if you have any questions after you have received your results.

Post Results Services

Exam boards offer a number of post-exam services should you wish to query a result.  The three key services are:

  • Access to scripts - a digital copy of a students’ written paper
  • Clerical recheck - a check that all parts of a paper have been marked and that the marks have been totalled and recorded correctly
  • Review of marking - a review of how the mark scheme has been applied

Applications for these services must be made through the Academy and require written consent from the student.  These services do have costs attached to them which are charged to families - information for 2024 Exams will be released in the summer. The below documents are from 2023 but provide a guide for information:

Post Results Services - GCSE and other Level 2 Qualifications

Post Results Services - A Level and other Level 3 Qualifications
