Students Impress in Food Tech
It’s been a busy couple of weeks in the food technology department with students from Years 9, 10, and 12 showing off their culinary skills!
In Year 10, students took on their first practical of the GCSE course by preparing delicious Chicken Caesar Salads. Their effort and determination shone through, with everyone putting in a fantastic performance. Well done, Year 10!
Meanwhile, Year 12 students shifted their focus to baking and decoration. They crafted fresh, beautiful bagels and demonstrated their piping techniques on cupcakes, producing some impressive results. Their dedication is certainly paying off, as they continue to grow in their culinary abilities.
Not to be outdone, Year 9 students took on the challenge of making home-made jam and Swiss rolls for their practical assessment. Their attention to detail and skilful execution left everyone impressed!
A big well done to all our talented students—you’ve certainly set the bar high!
