Future Chef Local Heat

Two of our talented students, Elloise (Year 10) and Annabelle (Year 11), participated in the Future Chef Regionals competition in front of the judge for the day, Dom, the Head Chef at The Ostrich, a Butcombe pub in Redcliffe.

The challenge was to whip up a delicious meal for two people within just one hour and both of them produced some mouth-watering dishes.

Elloise went for juicy turkey burgers, crispy potato wedges, and tangy tzatziki, while Annabelle made a heavenly Salmon en Croute with asparagus.

We are thrilled to announce that Annabelle's dish won the round, thanks to her impeccable cooking skills and creativity. Annabelle now goes forward to be mentored for the regional heat at Bridgwater College in January.

We couldn't be more excited about this amazing opportunity for Annabelle and we are confident that she will continue to impress us with her culinary talent.

Congratulations to both Elloise and Annabelle for making us proud!
