Sports Day 2023

Sports Day was especially exciting this year after such close knit results, which saw Tudor and Lancaster neck and neck in the final races.

After postponing Sports Day due to poor weather, there was a huge sigh of relief as the sun shone the entire day. Kick starting the day with our famous Tug of War league, there was no doubt that the students were ready for a healthy battle to win the cup. Hanover girls put in a dominant performance across year groups to ensure they ended the day as the 2022/23 Tug of War winners.

The lead in the overall competition changed hands throughout the day, with the final result coming down to the final relay races. Victories for the Year 10 girls and boys teams was enough to crown Lancaster the champions by a tiny three-point margin.

Congratulations to all the students and head of houses who took part and cheered on their houses. Let's see if they can hold onto their titles next year!
