Academy Sports Rundown: 13th June 2025

Team PE were back at it again this week with athletics across every remaining year group and a quick game of rounders. See how they got on below:

Year 7 & 8 Rounders v Clevedon

It was an enjoyable afternoon for our Year 7 and 8 rounders team, who faced Clevedon School this week. Despite both teams ultimately losing, there were some excellent performances from all involved. Players of the match were awarded to Millie and Daisy for their unwavering determination throughout the games! 

Year 7 & 8 North Somerset Athletics Competition

Our junior athletics team headed to the North Somerset Athletics competition this week. The boys were up first, with both Year 7 and 8 finishing in second place in the competition. A special shout-out to Isaac, who had an exceptional personal best on the high jump at 1.60m. 

The girls put in some amazing performances across the board. Both the Year 7 and 8 teams placed in the middle of the rankings, just shy of a place in the top three.
