We are still accepting applications; however, the option blocks have now been finalised (see below). Applicants must select one subject from each block due to timetabling constraints (for example, all classes within a block are scheduled at the same time).

Please note that some subjects/classes are now full, and we are operating a waiting list for these. You are still welcome to apply for these subjects, and we can discuss availability further during your interview.

If you have already been interviewed and your chosen subject combination cannot be accommodated due to timetabling constraints, we will contact you to discuss suitable alternatives.

Entry Requirements

Students wishing to study an Advanced Level or other Level 3 course at Churchill Sixth Form need a minimum of three GCSE passes at grade 5 and two GCSE passes at grade 4, or above. Individual subjects have specific entry requirements which are listed on the Subject pages.

Subject Choices

We offer over 30 different courses in Sixth Form including A Levels, BTECs and CTECs.

Key Dates for Applicants – 2026 Entry

Monday 7th September 2026: Year 12 Enrolment Day

Key Dates for Applicants – 2027 Entry

Wednesday 14th October 2026: Sixth Form Open Evening (book tickets here)
Thursday 15th October 2026: Sixth Form applications open for 2027 Entry
Tuesday 24th November 2026: Be a Sixth Former Day (Churchill Y11 students only)
Wednesday 25th November 2026: Sixth Form Interviews - will commence from 25th November and continue through to the Spring terms.
Monday 4th January 2027: Early Bird Application Deadline - submit your application on or before 4th January 2027, and we will endeavour to accommodate your subject choices, although we cannot guarantee all subject combinations. Late applications will still be considered, but subjects may be full and there may be reduced choice in terms of subject combinations.
Monday 28th June 2027: Sixth Form Induction Day – Once your exams have finished, join us for Induction Day, where you will get to have sample lessons in the subjects you applied for and start preparing to be a Churchill Sixth Former.
