Lighthouse Learning Partnership

The Lighthouse Schools Partnership offers school-based teacher training through the Lighthouse Learning Partnership. Please refer to the LSP website for more details.

These are offered with our HEI partners, University of Bristol and Five Counties SCITT.

Across the partnership, we offer teacher training placements in the following subjects:

English
Maths
Science
History
Geography
RE
MFL
Art and Design
PE
Design Technology
Computer Science

Some of these placements are offered at Churchill Academy & Sixth Form. The earlier you apply for a placement the more choice you will have for a home school.

In addition to the LLP route, we often offer placements direct from University of Bristol and occasionally Mid-Somerset Consortium SCITT and the University of Gloucester for PE.
