The Annual Sponsored Annual Walk & Trek 2026

Students successfully completed our annual Sponsored Walk and Trek today, with hundreds of students conquering various distances across the mendips.

Our students Year 7 through 10 demonstrated all our Academy values along the way, taking on the distance with determination, showing kindness to each other as they supported their peers throughout the day and curiosity in the surrounding area. It was incredible to see all of our students rise to the challenge in the windy conditions. 

The annual event, which is always highly anticipated, promotes not only physical activity and an appreciation for the local environment but also serves as a crucial fundraiser. 

Families and friends have the opportunity to sponsor students, with this year’s money being split across the five house charities we support. Although the walk has concluded, families can still support the students' efforts by completing the sponsorship form here and donating via ParentPay or by handing cash to our reception in sealed envelopes. The deadline for all sponsorships is Friday 26th June 2026. 

The success of today's Sponsored Walk and Trek highlights the strong community spirit and determination within the Academy, as students, staff, and families came together for a worthwhile cause.
