BBC Bitesize inspire our students with future career options

The BBC Bitesize Careers Roadshow visited the Academy on Wednesday to host four sessions with our students in Years 7 to 10. 

It was an exciting morning as we welcomed three panellists from local employers to discuss career opportunities, pathways and apprenticeships with our students. 

Two of our visitors, from EDF and Bristol Airport, were Churchill alumni who have gone on to have incredibly successful careers in their respective fields. It was fantastic to hear about their career progress. 

Students had the opportunity to ask the panellists questions. They asked brilliant questions about what apprenticeships can offer, the importance of A Levels, and sought advice on how to achieve their career goals. 

We would like to extend a massive thank you to the BBC for visiting the Academy, alongside our panellists from BBC Bristol, Bristol Airport, and EDF Hinkley Point. The students were left inspired and excited for their futures.
