Bronze DofE Have a Wet and Windy Expedition

Our Year 9 students recently completed their first expedition as part of their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh’s Award practice expedition. Spending two wet and windy days in the Quantocks, students developed their navigation skills, set up camps and trekked across challenging terrain.

Despite the conditions, the expeditions were a great success and provided valuable experience ahead of their assessed expeditions scheduled for July. The students showed resilience, teamwork and determination throughout the challenge, leaving them well prepared for the next stage of their Bronze DofE journey.
