Year 9 Dance Company Represent the Academy at the North Somerset Dance Festival
Our Year 9 Dance Company represented the Academy at the North Somerset Dance Festival this week. The festival is a showcase of dance from a range of primary and secondary education provisions across the local area.
They performed two dances that they had been working on during their lunchtime club. The first was a story of love, loss and grief and the second was inspired by the fairytale Red Shoes.
They performed brilliantly and were a real credit to the school. We are very proud of them, and they were excellent role models for the younger students, many of whom will join us at Churchill in the future.
