Thomas Wins the Spelling Bee Grand Final!

The Academy's annual Spelling Bee Grand Final was a buzz! We had eleven excellent spellers this year who made it to the finals and blew us away with their skills. We were also impressed by their parents and supporters, who took on the family round and correctly spelt their challenging words. 

The judges had difficulty narrowing down the spellers as they progressed through the final stages with their superb spelling. But our "Sudden Death" round is where we crowned our spelling champions! 

Congratulations to Thomas, who took 1st place, Eden, who came in a close 2nd, and Dennis, who came in 3rd. Well done to our youngest speller, Joseph, who made it to the finals. We were so impressed by all of the students who made it to the finals - a big congratulations to all.

Finally, Mr Wilkinson took on Mr Grimmett in the Staff Challenge. The teachers were pushed to their spelling limits, with Mr Grimmett securing his place as the reigning staff champion.
