Students Shine in North Somerset Politics Debate

The second round of the prestigious North Somerset politics debating competition took place last night, hosted by local MP Sadik Al-Hassan. The Academy entered two teams, each taking opposing sides on the motion: Should the United Kingdom rejoin the European Union?

Theo and Freddie faced the challenging task of leading the debate and delivered an outstanding performance, securing a respectable third place. Meanwhile, Churchill’s second team, Isla and Megan, impressed the judges with a polished argument, winning the debate and earning a spot in next month’s grand final.
