Winter Competition Winners Revealed

We’re pleased to announce the winners of our Technology department’s Winter Competition!

The objective of the competition was to develop a creative representation of the Winter season, providing students with the opportunity to showcase their creative prowess.

They were given the freedom to choose any medium they found fitting for their project, encouraging a wide array of unique and innovative submissions.

The department had the challenging task of selecting the top three winners as all of the entries demonstrated how well our students can stretch their imaginations and creativity.

The winners are:

First place: Clemmie Chadwick, Year 7

Clemmie went above and beyond, submitting four entries; a handmade Christmas wreath, a Winter landscape of the countryside in the snow, a detailed robin and a marshmallow snowman relaxing in a mug of hot chocolate. An incredible collection of artwork demonstrating her interpretation of winter!

Second place: Haliyah Shittu, Year 7

Haliyah showed off her excellent drawing skills by presenting a mountain landscape. Using the juxtaposition of warm and cool colours, she created a beautiful drawing.

Third place: Herbie Cooksley, Year 12

Herbie created a wonderfully detailed drawing of a hand holding winter in a broken globe - a truly unique take.

We look forward to seeing what other creations these students will make in their futures here at Churchill Academy & Sixth Form!
