Year 10’s First GCSE Field Trip: River Holford

This week, Year 10 embarked on their first field trip of the GCSE course, focusing on investigating river processes and flood risk along the River Holford in the beautiful Quantock Hills.
We were fortunate to have lovely sunny weather, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Our geographers demonstrated excellent engagement and worked diligently to collect valuable data, applying their classroom knowledge to real-world scenarios.
This hands-on experience will be incredibly useful in preparing them for fieldwork questions in their exams. A huge well done to Year 10 for their enthusiasm and hard work!
