Year 8 Get BBQ Ready with Homemade Burgers

This week, our Year 8 students brought summer into the kitchen by making their own homemade beef burgers in Food Technology.

Inspired by the sunshine, students rolled up their sleeves and prepped their burgers from scratch, honing key culinary skills along the way. Once cooked, they got creative with their toppings – some stuck to the timeless combo of cheese and bacon, while others experimented with coleslaw, sauces, and fresh salads to build their perfect burger.

A fantastic effort from everyone involved – and judging by the results, they tasted just as good as they looked!
