World of Work Day – Bookings now open!

World of Work Day is an annual off-timetable event for our Year 10 students, taking place this year on 6th June 2025. 

The aim of the event is to inform and inspire students about different career options, show clear links between school subjects and future jobs, and develop essential employability skills.

This year, we’ll be welcoming 24 employers into the Academy to deliver a short talk about their career, followed by a fun, hands-on workshop designed to help students apply key workplace skills. 

The day will conclude with a session from Muller UK, focusing on “What Employers Want”—covering key skills and behaviours that make a difference in the world of work.

Students must book two employer activities to attend, and bookings are now open. Places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Bookings will close at 9am on Wednesday 21 May.
