Science crown their winners of the Term 1 Science Awards

During Term 1, our Science department ran two competitions for our KS3 and KS4 students.

The KS3 competition challenged students to build their own model plasma cell, using any materials and more points would be awarded for creativity. We had an incredible influx of entries, making our choice of winner a difficult one. We are proud to announce that Daisy was crowned the winner for KS3, her LEGO model was colourful, creative and accurate. Well done, Daisy!

Our KS4 students were tasked with creating a bookmark focused on the famous scientist Ignaz Semmelweis, detailing his achievements, what he was known for and the impact he had on Science. The Science department was blown away by the responses to the competition, settling on three final winners. Congratulations to Abbie, Millie and Emmie for their incredible designs.

It has been great to see so many of our students be inspired by Science and get creative with their entries. Well done to every student who entered!
