Year 10 Students Shine at Bluebird Talent Competition

Congratulations to Xavier and Lola, who impressed audiences and judges at a recent talent competition held at the Bluebird Café in Wedmore.

Competing against students from schools across North Somerset in Years 10 to 13, Xavier and Lola were among the youngest performers taking part, making their achievements even more remarkable.

Xavier captivated the audience by singing and playing guitar, performing one of his own original songs alongside an energetic cover of Uptown Funk. Lola also showcased her musical talent with a performance of one of her own songs as well as a cover version.

At the end of the evening, the judges awarded Xavier an impressive third place overall, praising his professionalism and confidence throughout the competition.

Both students represented the Academy brilliantly, demonstrating creativity, talent and courage on stage. Xavier will also be returning to perform at the Bluebird Café in December, and further details will be shared once confirmed.
