Rising Pilot Stars: Sebastian and Zach

Congratulations to Year 7 students Sebastian and Zach, who have successfully achieved their Wings Certificate through the British Young Pilots training programme at British Aerospace in Filton.

As part of the programme, Sebastian and Zach learned about the different parts and functions of aircraft, the principles of flight, air law, meteorology, navigation and flying theory. They also had the opportunity to put their knowledge into practice using flight simulators.

Having completed this important milestone, they are now looking forward to progressing to the next stages of the programme, with the exciting prospect of experiencing a real flight and taking the controls. Well done!
