Somerset Youth Orchestra

On the evening of December 21, Keith Ng, Adam Corke, and former student Chloe Phipps delivered an exceptional performance with the Somerset Youth Orchestra in Taunton, following a brief four-day rehearsal period.

The concert, led by conductor Andy Sherwood, featured a dynamic programme that included Tchaikovsky's Suite from Swan Lake, Borodin's Polovtsian Dances, Saint-Saens Dance Macabre, and Williams Suite from Star Wars.

Additionally, the audience was treated to Prokofiev's Troika as an encore. The musicians showcased remarkable talent and skill, particularly considering the limited preparation time. Well done!

Chloe Phipps is currently furthering her studies in Music at the Birmingham Conservatoire.
