Sixth Form Course List

We are proud to offer over 30 courses at Churchill Sixth Form.

These include AS and A-Level courses, as well as BTECs and Diplomas. We are also ready to launch Alternative Academic Qualifications (AAQs) for September 2025 pending the Government's review*. Please note that you may choose a curriculum composed of three A-Levels, or two A-Levels and one AAQ, or any combination of BTEC, Diploma and A-Level courses. 

In addition to these courses, we run an Extension Study programme as part of the Year 12 Curriculum to develop wider skills. Students choose from Core Maths, Study Skills, Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), or an AS Level to complement their three subject choices. These are studied as a one year programme only. 

Applications for our Sixth Form will open in October 2024.

*Please note, the courses affected by this review are Applied Science, Health and Social Care, and ICT. Whilst we cannot confirm whether these courses will run as BTEC/CTEC subjects or AAQs until the results of the government review are published (expected in December), we can commit to running all three subjects, and confirm the entrance criteria for these courses will remain unaffected.
