Business Studies
Business is front page news. The way companies operate is under greater scrutiny than ever before, while TV programmes like The Apprentice and Dragons’ Den have raised the profile of business to a new generation. The new Business Studies A Level enables students to engage with, explore and understand business behaviour and develop a critical understanding of what business is and does. Business Studies at A Level assesses quantitative skills, which make up a minimum of 10% of the overall marks. The skills tested include ratios, averages, fractions, percentages and calculation of profit and loss. |
